ABOUT

The club is run by enthusiasts who will try their best to cater for men, women, boys and girls of all ages within amateur athletics. The club looks after all abilities and ages, from the age of 9 upwards, with opportunities for both youngsters thinking about getting into the sport of athletics for the first time as well as experienced athletes hoping to continue their athletic careers. The club conforms to UKA Codes of Conduct for Athletes, Coaches, Officials, Parents and Team Managers. See www.uka.org.uk/governance/welfare-and-safeguarding/guidance-documents-and-policy/

Solihull and Small Heath AC is run entirely by volunteers at our headquarters, Norman Green Athletics Track, which is situated by Tudor Grange Leisure Centre, Blossomfield Road, Solihull and which has facilities for virtually all athletic disciplines. A map showing the location of the track can be found in the contact section of this site.

The club itself has a rich history, and we currently partcipate in a number of competitive leagues, which cover all athletic disciplines, for all ages. Many of our athletes also compete in competitions which are not in these leagues, such as county, area and national championships. Although certain club teams, particularly those for track competitions, require selection, atheletes of all abilities are still welcome to compete for the club in some competitive leagues, most notably in the cross-country leagues. A brief history of the club can be found by clicking here.
